About D Gypsum & Lights.

D Gypsum and Lights was established in 2004 as a sole proprietorship, specialising in turnkey projects and plasterboard installations. From the outset, the versatility of gypsum allowed each project to be uniquely tailored, making the work both dynamic and rewarding.

However, the limited availability of lighting solutions within the local market presented a recurring challenge. In response, the company took a strategic step forward in 2008 by importing a small collection of lighting products specifically designed to complement gypsum installations. This initiative proved highly successful, and by the end of that same year, the company expanded its operations to include the distribution of lighting solutions to other gypsum installers and designers.

As demand continued to grow, the business evolved under the joint management of Sergio and Loraine D’Ambrogio. In 2012, the company was formally incorporated, marking the official establishment of D Gypsum and Lights as a registered entity.

In 2013, a significant milestone was achieved with the opening of the company’s first warehouse and showroom in the Gudja Industrial Estate. Designed as a one-stop shop, this outlet provided clients with comprehensive solutions for all types of gypsum projects. Building on this success, a second warehouse was launched in Mosta in 2020, enhancing accessibility and offering an improved customer experience for clients in the northern region.

Today, D Gypsum and Lights proudly imports a wide range of gypsum and lighting products, distributing them across Malta and Gozo, while also providing professional installation services for both residential and commercial projects. The company’s continued success is driven by a strong commitment to quality, a proactive approach to sourcing innovative international products, and a dedicated team that works collaboratively to deliver exceptional results.
